Allbirds Tree Dashers Review + get free socks!

I’ve been testing Allbirds Tree Dashers–the Allbirds version of a running shoe–for the past week. They’ve been through cross training, dance class, and light hiking in that time so I thought I would let you know how they fit and feel–especially if you, like me, have narrow feet. My main questions were about sizing and whether to size up or down and about tread and arch support. Plus, I have a deal from Allbirds for free socks with purchase, if you want!

My mega Third Love review: Everything I’ve ever tried

Is anyone else headed back to the office and suddenly finding their bra collection inadequate? If you’re like me, you get barraged with nothing but bra ads any time you’re on social media. It’s hard to judge how good any of those instagram ad bras are, so today I’m reviewing Third Love bras and answering some questions about quality, if they stretch out, and comfort level! I review the classic t-shirt bra, the bras I actually like MORE than those (spoilers: pima cotton) and their everyday cotton and comfort stretch underwear.

Tradlands reviews and tips for shopping the sample sale

Today I’m reviewing the 4 Tradlands items I own: The short sleeve box top, box tee, shelter cardigan, and glenn long short. 2 of these items I bought on sale during the Tradlands sample sale, so I thought I would also share some tips for shopping the sample sale and getting what you want before it sells out!

Comfortable women’s shoes for work and walking, aka shoes that will not betray you at conferences

Comfortable women’s dress shoes are so hard to find, especially if you need to be on your feet all day at a work, for travel, or at a conference. Seriously, why are office shoes so terrible?? I’ve run through boxes of bandaids trying to avoid blisters in the past and am now committed on 3-4 pairs of shoes that will never betray me at work. Here they are.

Everlane Perform Leggings, Bike Shorts, and Tank Review

I’ve owned the Everlane leggings and bike shorts for 6+ months so I thought a review was long overdue! Before I got them, I had some questions about the quality, if they would be squat proof, and if they would stay up. I also wondered how the Perform line compared to Outdoor Voices and Athleta–my two other favorite leggings brands. Finally, I got intrigued all over again and decided to try their new pocket leggings (with no center seam!!). So here are answers to all those questions if you have them, too!

Fortress of Inca Boots Review

Last year I made a round up of ethical and sustainable fashion brands that make tall sizes. And there was a glaring issue with the list: no size 11 and 12 (and beyond!) shoes. I have been on the hunt ever since and am so happy to find Fortress of Inca. They make a wide range of classic styles (boots, mules, flats) and are committed to fair trade practices. AND, they’re launching size 11 shoes this month! So here’s a review of their Elise ankle boots and a hint about what styles are about to be in the extended range!

Boody Wear Review: Sustainable Activewear and Underwear

Boody wear leggings and activewear review

I have been trying the Boody padded shaper bra and underwear for a few months, and now have had the chance to try their new leggings and activewear. Everything by Boody is made with bamboo–a sustainable material–and it’s all been really well suited to my stay at home life in 2020. Here is my review and thoughts on sizing, comfort, and how the new activewear survived my workout test.

Brass summer try-ons

It’s probably not a secret at this point that Brass makes my favorite ethical workwear and business casual clothing. With many items under $100, they’re also one of the better priced ethical fashion companies if you’re new to trying to buy from better brands. I’ve reviewed a bunch of Brass before and am back because most of my summer buys have come from them this year, too! Here are reviews and try ons of the drift knit, all day shorts, high neck shell, and all day culottes.

A review of all the Everlane Day Glove flat styles: are they comfy, true to size, and how they compare to Rothy’s

All the questions listed in the title of this blog post were my exact questions when considering the reknit version of Everlane’s popular Day Glove flat. I saw them on the website several times and didn’t give much thought to them until I got wedding shoes on the brain and there was a blush version. I have since tried several styles in the day glove line looking for just the right flats: the original leather day glove, the reknit day glove, the mesh day glove, and the day ballet flat. So here are all my thoughts on the Day Glove: how they fit, if they’re true to size, if they’re comfortable, how they compare to Rothy’s, how they compare to the leather day glove and mesh version, and, yes, if I kept them for my wedding. Phew!
