I’ve owned the Everlane leggings and bike shorts for 6+ months so I thought a review was long overdue! Before I got them, I had some questions about the quality, if they would be squat proof, and if they would stay up. I also wondered how the Perform line compared to Outdoor Voices and Athleta–my two other favorite leggings brands. Finally, I got intrigued all over again and decided to try their new pocket leggings (with no center seam!!). So here are answers to all those questions if you have them, too!
I posted a picture of my medicine cabinet on Instagram this week, at which point it came to my attention that some of you think I have too many skincare products. To which I say: NEVER ENOUGH. No really, I think I do a decent job with concealer but I have some pretty aggressive hormonal acne and I have a product for every phase of the fight against it. One thing about being on a clothing budget that I don’t like so much is that it makes me want to make “big impact” purchases. I love instant gratification, and compliments. In my opinion, the things that make the biggest splash in those categories are dresses and cool shirts, so, no surprise, those are the things I love browsing for the most. Taking a step back from shopping has meant thinking more about purchases that will make a difference to how I feel and not just how I look.
