I got a request to post some good shirts that go under blazers–a topic that I think is always a problem for me (I’ve already ranted about it here). In the spirit of Cyber Monday, here are some nice work shirts at good prices!

This top fits most of my requirements–short sleeved (so you don’t get too hot), no buttons (=no gaping shirt situations), long enough not to ride up when it’s tucked in. The light grey would break up a black or navy suit nicely.

A wrap blouse looks good under a blazer and alone with dress pants untucked. The small print means it could bring different colored pants and jackets together, too–you could do black pants with a teal or purple blazer ($24, below), for example.

A sweater tank is a nice way to add texture, get a shirt that can also be worn on weekends, and look cozy without being overheated under a blazer.

All the polish of a button up, drapey for nice tucking in, and $25? I’ll take this in red, blush, mustard, navy….
Tie neck blouse by H&M (30% off through Monday plus free shipping, $20)
A tie neck blouse can look great with unbuttoned blazers, and minimizes the need for accessories.
