I’ve been on the hunt for a good leather jacket for several years now. Yes, years. And in that time, I’ve owned 2 jackets that were almost perfect, but not quite–both because I was trying to jump the gun when I saw them on sale. Anyway, this time, I decided to decide on exactly what I wanted in a leather jacket (minimal hardware, that cool waterfall effect on the front) and then wait until I found THE ONE.
Which I did, at Nordstrom Rack last weekend. It has since sold out on their website but here are a couple of the same jacket on Poshmark (M, M in pink, XL in beige). I love that the “waterfall” part actually zips off so you can wear the jacket with more a blazer shape as well. Here are several ways I’m planning to style it for Fall:
Leather jacket + simple tee + relaxed denim + sneakers: I think starting casual will be a good way to ease into this look.
Leather jacket + screen tee + jeans + boots: This version is based on some pinterest looks I’ve seen.
