I know there’s a bigger sale getting hype on the internet right now (every influencer in the world is blogging about it, rhymes with Pordstrom, no more hints), but I look forward to July because that seems to be the time J. Crew puts their clearance on sale for an extra 50% off, aka the only time I buy their clothes. Here are some of my picks if you’re looking for back-to-school teacher stuff:
A nice shift dress for $50? Yes, please.
I can always use more work pants. I like the dark red color available here for about $40.
A silk button up for $50? Such an adult thing to own.
Oh man, I’ve been wanting one of their sweater blazers for a while. In this light blue for ~$60, I might do it (fit is oversized–I tried it on in-store and suggest sizing down).
I bought a similar cardigan last year and it is so cozy yet professional, with the additional 30% off this comes to about $35.
Also, things come and go fast from this sale–if you see something not in your size, I recommend bookmarking it and checking back another day. It will probably return.
