Colorado is still overproducing snow, which has me dreaming of Spring Break–still a couple weeks away. We just booked our second stay at Amigo Motor Lodge (heart eyes) as a reward for all the dissertation/thesis writing happening in our house (my boyfriend is finishing his MA this year, too!), and this has me daydreaming about warmer weather clothing. Here’s what’s on my wishlist now.
Belted linen pants: Oops, these aren’t on my wishlist, they’re in the mail to me right. now. I think they’ll look great with a white t shirt and denim jacket, or a white button up and sandals for teaching. (Comes in Tall and Petite sizing!)
Button-front jumpsuit: Old Navy is killing it with jumpsuits right now. I’ve been drawn to the coverall type jumpsuits floating around for a while now, and this is the most affordable version that I could find. (Comes in plus, tall, and petite sizing).
Tulip skirt in floral print: J. Crew ads for this skirt are following me around the internet–they know how vulnerable I am–but at $128, I’ll wait for it to go on sale (but all J. Crew stuff is 40% off right now as well. Comes in sizes 00-16).
Pastel sneakers: Does anything scream spring more than new tennis shoes now that our ankles can safely touch the air again? This lilac pair of Supergas is sitting impatiently in my Amazon cart.
Not ready to shop? I’m also getting in the mood for spring by cleaning my duvet cover and learning how to arrange grocery store flowers.
