Hi! I’m Rebecca, a new professor in search of work outfits. I’m glad you’re here.

How to pack for a conference with beautiful hikes nearby! There’s nothing like flying hundreds of miles to sit in a dingy little conference room adjacent to a famous mountain range 😅 If you’re a professor or grad student I know you’re seeing this content, and it’s probably not a scam that is confined to higher ed. If your summer break isn’t going as planned…it’s not too late to make a summer syllabus! Challenging myself to wear things I’ve sewn all summer! Using all my stuff in 2026: a six month update of my minimalist challenge for the year! What do you do when you’re in a research slump? When you feel like you have no new project ideas, or are discouraged about the projects you’re working on? The only math I’ll do as a qual scholar…introducing OUTFIT MATH: where we make good outfit formulas to solve academic style conundrums. A Vegas round up! Some local and recent favorites off the strip if you have a Las Vegas trip this summer and want to see something different. 🎰 🃏 Closet tour of all my professor work bags!
