10×10 day 1: here’s what I’m wearing to teach today. Monday is a long day for me (12 hours at school!) but I have to be in professional clothes. Culottes are the answer to this problem! And all my problems! They’re one of those trends I saw 2 years ago and thought “eh, I’ll skip it.” And then I tried some on. And I understood everything. I’ll be wearing them all summer because they’re also perfect for teaching when it’s hot out.
Ootd featuring spring break and being too tall and having to choose between the top of my head and my shoes.
Happy first day of spring, here is the super lazy outfit I will be making for every class day between now and the end of the semester. Dress + sandals + something on top for weather swings.
Ootd because global warming has made February tooooo nice
I did manage one outfit photo during this conference.
OOTD here’s what those Old Navy dress pants look like. Spending today working on the three presentations I have to give next week, & one of them is in front of the department…ahhhhh.
OOTD: Dress pant. leggings. The best invention??
Pixie pant from J. Crew
Sometimes actually getting dressed on the weekend helps me get things done. Things this outfit & I achieved yesterday:
-delivered a stack of books to my office
-bought snacks for the Super Bowl
-wood conditioned the house cutting boards
-dyed my hair
-stained the couch with hair dye 😭
-cleaned the bathroom
-made stir fry for lunches this week
But I forgot to grad school…oops.
Judged a Speech & Debate tournament all weekend, because that’s fun when you’re a comm grad student! Now I’m excited to get back to teaching ♥
Ootd: casual black dress, statement sweater, neutral boots. Honoring my Arizona heritage or something.
