Hi! I’m Rebecca, a new professor in search of work outfits. I’m glad you’re here.

If your summer break isn’t going as planned…it’s not too late to make a summer syllabus! Challenging myself to wear things I’ve sewn all summer! Using all my stuff in 2026: a six month update of my minimalist challenge for the year! What do you do when you’re in a research slump? When you feel like you have no new project ideas, or are discouraged about the projects you’re working on? The only math I’ll do as a qual scholar…introducing OUTFIT MATH: where we make good outfit formulas to solve academic style conundrums. A Vegas round up! Some local and recent favorites off the strip if you have a Las Vegas trip this summer and want to see something different. 🎰 🃏 Closet tour of all my professor work bags! Sewing project summer! Made this maxi dress for summer weddings and it was actually so fun and not tooo tricky. The best office friendly work appropriate t shirts! If you work in a casual environment you can probably wear a T-shirt to work. But just because you can wear a T-shirt doesn’t mean all T-shirts are the same quality and style. Here are my favorites that are not see-through, do not cling to your bra and all around look professional enough to go to work!
