Every January, I forgo traditional clothing purchases and instead put my budget toward bras and underwear. It is boring, but it makes me feel like I have my life together. Here are some good buys in those categories.
Bras
I have a chill minimizer bra I swear by, but I sometimes need something a bit more substantial. After asking the group chat for bra recommendations last month, I ordered 4 from Soma. I hated exactly 3 of them. The other bra was perfect.
The group chat, agrees, by the way, we have 3 purchasers now who call the combo of lift and wireless comfort “wizardry.”
If, by any chance, you are really feeling like getting your life together and updating your strapless bra, I got this one last year and have no complaints.
Underwear
I saw a mega influencer recommend this pair of underwear last year and I bought them on a whim. She was not. lying. If you hate all thongs but sometimes need them, these are IT. They feel like wearing nothing.
I don’t have a great bikini recommendation, though, if you do would you please share??
The other stuff
My random favorite Christmas gift this year was these socks. I received 3 pairs and immediately went to buy more. The youths are into visible socks these days, and I do think they make my athleisure outfits feel a little more “done.”
Finally, this sports bra was also highly recommended by the group chat.
