Hi all! I’m popping in today with some Old Navy options if you are shopping for back-to-school clothes for the 2023 school year. Sure, kids get the supply lists, college students get the dorm stuff, but professors and grad students also sometimes need new outfits to teach in!
First I tried on this plaid suit. Very dark academia, yes?
Wearing:
Taylor pants (M, I would buy the long inseam)– these are a great pleated straight leg pant that would go with so much
Taylor jacket (M)
Mockneck tank (M)
Next I found this excellent linen blazer:
It definitely looked more expensive than it was, and I loved the idea of layering it with more beige/cream tones for early fall!

Cargo jeans (these are 40% off! Wearing a 28)
I also thought a white blazer would be good with summer items to stave off the AC chill:
This linen dress was gorgeous! It had flattering seams down the front! Wearing a M.
Next I tried a matching set:
This felt like a dupe of Aritzia or similar. It was surprisingly substantial and soft!
Cardigan (wearing a S Tall, I would pick a M)
Knit tank (wearing a M)
Finally, I tried on one more knit option:
This tank was not as cozy, sadly. But cemented for me that the Taylor pants are a good look! And they’re under $30 today online, so it might be the day!
