End of the semester outfits!

Hello from the end of the semester, where I am dressing for comfort and comfort only! If you see me in ponte pants 12 times, no you didn’t! Here is what I have been wearing to give some exams, grade, and have a bunch of last minute meetings!

I started the finals season in the biggest sweater I could find, which of course, is from the thrift store. I swapped the fabric-covered buttons out for tortoise ones I found at Joann’s for a simple update.

You’re about to see these ponte pants about 80 times but that’s finals life. Also, visible socks! They’re a thing now. Try it out. Feel dorky chic.

I did get dressed-dressed one day this month. For what, I now can’t really remember, but I felt Scandinavian chic. This thrifted blazer is from Theory, my go-to brand I search for blazers online. I find they run true to your Madewell/Old Navy/etc size!

On this day of thesis defenses I went with a cozy pleather shirt–adds a nice layer against office chill. I rented mine from Rent the Runway, which has been helping me try out statement styles monthly without committing to forever with an item.

Boots

No thoughts, just coziness and trying to style this sweater vest, which I like but am still often confused about how to wear. Some pieces just make me overthink!

Ok, I did get dressed one more day. And this was the day I learned the magic about camel/tan: you can combine it, and even if it doesn’t look like it will match, it somehow gels together and just does. Try it!

I couldn’t decide which topper to wear–leather or long shacket. What would you pick?
