Here I am in the sweater I wear so often I’m afraid of posting too many pictures of it and being mistaken for a brown sweater fan account.
Another day of wearing the best color. Yeah I know it’s not technically purple #colormycloset ppl. I used to wear more purple but now that I’m a faux redhead I’ve had to shift all my colors to be a little warmer (according to my mom, who is makeup seller extraordinaire and not afraid to dish hard truths like “you better wear more blush or you’ll look dead” and “don’t overpluck your eyebrows I don’t care if it’s 2003 eyebrows will come back around” and DAMN WAS SHE RIGHT ABOUT THAT).
I’ve been meaning to hit publish on this for a while...reviews of five little things that have made my closet work way better are on my blog today! Jewelry, underwear, belts, etc. Before I had a “capsule wardrobe” where everything goes together well my weakness was spending money on new shirts. That was like all I would buy. I’ve since learned that less compliment-able purchases can make just as much of an impact on my closet ❤️ so here they are. Do you have any small buys that made your closet work better?
It’s best to have enough olive green in your closet to blend in with your plants if the need ever arises 🌱 #colormycloset
#colormycloset yellow day! I love yellow. I think it’s a divisive color- people either wear it or never wear it. I’m very very pro 🌞 PS I’m not wearing this on a Sunday it’s the day of rest. But I wore it last week to work and felt great despite flying in in the morning the night after a wedding and having to go straight to interviewing job candidates. I wanted to yell “Look at my good outfit job candidate! I’m so freaking tired!” all day but I restrained myself.
When you’re done posting a month of work outfits and don’t know what to do with yourself 🤔 what should I write about next?! Help me brainstorm like viral video women (see stories 🙃).
