Class style: Go Cubs + oxfords
Emma says: Sometimes your team makes game 7 of the World Series and you’ve got to show your support at school! If I’m wearing a sports jersey, I like to wear nice jeans and dressy shoes with my standard mismatched dress socks. When I’ve got a fancier top, I like to wear sneakers, but I like to let people know that just because I’m wearing a jersey doesn’t mean I’m not ready for business.

Rebecca says: Hi internet. This is a go-to class outfit for me. Denim + black skinnies + comfy sneakers. I’m a second year PhD student and at this point in the semester it has to be stuff that is comfy and comes together quickly! I just bought clear glasses and someone told me “You look like a bigger nerd than you already are.” Oh well 🙂

I’m a second year Masters student and teaching assistant. One of my students once described me as “small and well-dressed” and that was a great day.
